Two truckers died from vehicle accidents at a Tennessee truck stop in two apparently unrelated incidents occurring over an 11-day period.

Both accidents occurred in the rear parking lot of the Pilot Travel Center at Exit 4 on Interstate 81.

Robert Charles “Bobby” Cline, 56, of Athens, died Jan. 5 at a Knoxville hospital, according to his obituary. He had been a driver for Loudon County Trucking Co.

Another trucker told White Pine police he did not see Cline until his truck hit the victim, according to 92.9 WNPC radio station.

Blanca Estela Olmos, 47, died Jan. 16 in Knoxville, according to her obituary. Olmos’ body was discovered near the fuel island, but the identity of the driver involved is not known yet.

Police are working with Pilot to identify who went through the fuel lines during the approximate time of death for the Brownsville, Texas resident, according to the radio station.
