| by: Overdrive Staff
Mark Swanson, owner of CPA Truck Accounting and Tax Service, based in Omaha, Neb., merged with Denver-based financial services provider ATBS, after the firm acquired Swanson’s business. Swanson provided exclusive service to Crete Carrier, Shaffer Trucking and Hunt Transportation.
“This acquisition continues to enhance our position as the premier provider of business services to the trucking industry,” says Todd Amen, ATBS president and CEO. “When Mark approached ATBS to buy his company, I saw it as an opportunity to reach out to additional independent contractors and company drivers at one of the industry’s premium carriers.”
