Plot: Former bounty hunter Clark Sealy and his wife Jessica – now David and Stacy Hoffman – live in Atlanta under the Witness Protection Program. Four years earlier, Chinese mathematician Professor Warren Dagon created a coded algorithm that the Chinese mafia wanted, but then he disappeared somewhere in Nevada. The mafia kidnapped Jessica and told Clark that unless he found and delivered Professor Dagon to them, they would kill Jessica in 48 hours. Clark managed the feat, won the battle and sent four members of the Chinese mafia to prison.
Now the Hoffmans are in trouble again. The mafia has found them and the U.S. federals say they can’t help this time. The couple turns to three law students, Jamey Brock, Isaiah Hayward and Wellington Farnsworth, for assistance, but then Jamey is kidnapped. Should David give the algorithm that could expose all national secrets to the mafia or give it to his own government, which would enable them to spy on fellow Americans, to save Jamey’s life and possibly his own?
Which character was your favorite? Isaiah Hayward. In the beginning, he was pompous and self-centered, but he became a better person and someday would be a good attorney.
