Averitt Express recently enhanced its tuition reimbursement package for drivers who choose to begin their career with Cookeville, Tennessee company.
Student drivers joining Averitt are now eligible for a $5,000 tuition assistance bonus, payable at a rate of $150 per month after completing orientation.
“There is a strong demand for quality drivers, and this is just one of the many ways we’re setting ourselves apart as we look to recruit and retain the best,” said Elise Leeson, Averitt’s vice president of human resources.
Additionally, incoming student drivers have another training resource in Averitt’s Finishing School, which teaches recent driving school graduates numerous maneuvers and safety procedures to prepare them for the road.
