C.R. England announced the company will increase its detention pay for drivers in its national and regional divisions.

The detention pay will increase for those drivers by more than double, according to a press release from the Salt Lake City carrier. The increased detention pay will go into effect Feb. 4.

“We are excited to be offering one of the most competitive and comprehensive detention pay packages in the industry,” said Chad England, C.R. England’s chief executive officer. “With more than double the current detention pay going into our drivers’ pockets, this is a significant benefit.”
