Truck drivers will have an opportunity to learn more about Cummins X15 Efficiency Series and X15 Performance Series engines at the Mid-America Trucking Show.
Cummins will hold ride-and-drives at MATS, March 23-25 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. Drivers can experience the 2017 X15 Efficiency Series and X15 Performance Series engines hauling fully loaded trailers on an interstate loop. Drivers will get a real-world feel for the acceleration, pulling power and fuel efficiency of the engines, according to the company.
Reservations for specific driving times will be coordinated by company representatives in the Cummins booth (#30025) at the show.
Any driver with a valid commercial driver’s license can sign up to drive an X15-powered vehicle, while non-CDL holders can sign up to ride along with a Cummins driver.
Last year our sister publication Commercial Carrier Journal took a look at the engines in this video.
