By choosing to eat at a fast food place only offering chicken, you already put yourself in a position to save some calories. Go a step further, though, and choose healthier chicken sandwich options at Chick-fil-A.
Here’s how the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich stacks up against its Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich.
Calories:
Chicken Sandwich has 430 calories
Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich has 300 calories
Difference: 130, or 6.5 percent of your daily calorie intake based on a 2,000 calorie diet.
Grams of fat:
Chicken Sandwich has 17g total fat, 1g saturated fat
Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich has 3.5g total fat, 1.5g saturated fat
Difference: 13.5g total fat, 2.5g saturated fat
The Chicken Sandwich has more than four times the total fat as the Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich. So while chicken is a good choice when trying to eat healthier, you can take it a step further by getting Chick-fil-A’s Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich.
