Editor to discuss CSA, driver pay Jan. 27
January 21, 2011
| by: Truckers News Staff
Truckers News’ January 2011 cover story examined where the regulatory and recruiting landscapes are connecting in the trucking world today in pay packages, as carriers respond to the rollout of the Compliance, Safety, Accountability program.
Other factors, such as the continuing growth of freight volumes, contribute to pay packages as well. Many observers are convinced, however, that CSA is making carriers particularly choosy in hiring, offering higher pay packages and sign-on bonuses, among other perks. Will it last?
To examine the issue join Truckers News Senior Editor Todd Dills with AsktheTrucker.com’s Allen and Donna Smith as part of the “Truth About Trucking” online radio series Thursday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. ET. Listen live online at www.BlogTalkRadio.com/truthabouttrucking.

I think that the csa 2010 is a bunch of bull crap. Even if you do what they want they will find something else to nail you on. I think most of it is a money thing. I also think that it will take a lot of drivers off the road because of stuipd stuff when a cop or dot wants to make your day as bad as his is going.
