Hunt Transportation raised company driver pay 2 cents per mile and owner-operator pay 4 cents per mile, raising the driver pay cap to 45 cents per mile on April 1.
CON-WAY TRUCKLOAD HONORS DRIVERS
Con-way Truckload honored its February drivers of the month: Ron Lichtle, Company Driver of the Month; Steve Hutto and Robert Sloan, Company Team of the Month; Mike Goucher, Owner-Operator of the Month; and Alvin and Irmgard Price, Owner-Operator Team of the Month.
LONG HAUL TRUCKING CONTRACTOR NAMED HIGHWAY ANGEL
John Crozman, an independent contractor leased to Long Haul Trucking, has been named a Truckload Carriers Association Highway Angel after saving two people from freezing during ground blizzard conditions in South Dakota. Crozman brought the two into his truck and drove them to the nearest truck stop.
