Trucking came through again for folks in need.

During last weekend’s Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, folks were able to donate items to be delivered to those providing relief efforts to victims of flooding in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area.

On Sunday, a truckload of bottled water, baby wipes, baby formula and other items departed the show for Louisiana.

The truck and trailer were provided by Cummins.

Todd and Tamera Sturgis drivers who run the Trucking is Glamorous Facebook page, and who work with Cummins, made the delivery.

Rain that would eventually dump more than 21 inches of rain began Aug. 12 and triggered flooding that would eventually damage or destroy some 60,000 homes.
