Liberty Mutual Insurance has awarded G&D Integrated, a transportation and logistics provider located in Naperville, Illinois, with its 2015 Gold Safety Award. The award recognizes G&D Integrated for its reduction in crash frequency.
The award criteria requires a minimum of at least 26 percent improvement in crash frequency during a specific one year period, according to a G&D Integrated news release. From October 2014 to October 2015, G&D Integrated ha 36 percent reduction in crash frequency.
“We want to keep our nation’s roadways safe so we’ve created a drivers safety council, our own transportation safety manual and implemented a fleet wide safety training program for our employees,” said Jeff Cohen, vice president of transportation for G&D Integrated.
