The Women’s Trucking Federation of Canada is raising funds and awareness for breast cancer by hosting a photo opportunity for women truckers with the Pinky truck, which breast cancer ribbons painted on the sides.

The photo opportunity will be Saturday, Sept. 23 at 11:30 a.m. at the TA Travel Center in Woodstock, Ontario. Participating women will receive a free pink Hi Vis safety vest, provided by Highway Western Star.

The event is part of the Trucking For a Cure convoy, held that day at the same location. Drivers may register for the convoy online or at the event for $75. The registration fees will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Breakfast will be provided for free at the convoy and trucks will compete in various categories, including People’s Choice and Best Pinked Out Truck.
