I-70 closures set for Denver

Construction crews will demolish the old Stapleton Airport runway service road over I-70, between Havana Street and Quebec Street in Denver, requiring lane closures on I-70 for eight consecutive nights from Aug. 14-Aug. 22.
To begin on Aug. 13, a right lane closure will be in effect on westbound I-70 only between Havana and Quebec streets from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next morning, the Colorado Department of Transportation said.
Full closures of I-70 between the two streets will follow this schedule:
Eastbound I-70:
- Aug. 14 and Aug. 18, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night.
- Aug. 19, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Aug. 20, 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Aug. 21, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
