November 5, 2010
| by: Truckers News Staff
The Colorado Department of Transportation will repair short segments of Interstate 70 Nov. 8-10, requiring lane closures near Idaho Springs.
One lane of eastbound or westbound I-70 will be closed at various locations from 6 a.m. until approximately 5 p.m. for asphalt patching and bridge expansion joint repairs. Work is scheduled for eastbound I-70 during morning hours and on westbound I-70 in the afternoons.
A major paving and bridge improvement project is scheduled to begin along this segment of I-70 in spring 2011.
