I-70 runaway ramp in Colorado reopened

The runaway truck ramp on westbound I-70 near Vail, Colo., at mile marker 182 has reopened after crews removed a rig and flatbed trailer that rolled on the ramp Sunday, Oct. 30.
Both lanes of westbound I-70 remained open.
The truck contained hazardous material, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. Workers from an environmental cleanup company remain on site to remove hazardous material.
Westbound I-70 drivers may experience additional lane closures starting at mile marker 189 at Vail Pass due to previously scheduled construction, CDOT said.
