Natural gas engine
March 18, 2010
| by: Truckers News Staff
Kenworth has a natural gas engine for Kenworth T800 short hood and W900S models, the Cummins Westport ISL G. The engine operates on either compressed natural gas or liquefied natural gas, both of which are cost-effective, low-carbon, and low-emissions fuels. The ISL G is 2010 compliant with a maintenance-free, three-way catalyst and does not require the use of selective catalytic reduction or a diesel particulate filter.
