The nomination deadline has been extended to Oct. 29 for the 2011 Truckers News/ TCA Company Driver of the Year. The winner will be presented at the annual meeting of the Truckload Carriers Association, March 4-7, 2012, in Orlando, Fla.
The contest is open to all company drivers who log a majority of their miles in the truckload segment. Nominees are judged on safety, professional accomplishment and contributions to the industry and their community.
The finalists will be featured monthly in Truckers News as Driver of the Month.
For nomination forms and information about rules and eligibility, visit www.truckload.org.
Truckers News’ sister publication, Overdrive, and TCA are sponsoring a comparable competition for company drivers.
The annual winners of both contests will receive prizes
