2 personal safety apps help keep you secure

In a digital world, one of the strongest personal safety tools can be found on your smartphone

The app is designed to be simple, so that when you’re in an unsafe situation, the ability to get help is literally at your fingertips. SafeTrek is free to download from iTunes and the Google Play store and has in-app purchases.

2. Patronus

Patronus gives users two-tap access to emergency services in an unsafe situation. It’s On My Way feature notifies friends or family when you arrive safely to a destination.
