Pilot Flying J raises funds for Wreaths Across America

Pilot Flying J is raising money for Wreaths Across America by donating a portion of its proceeds, up to $25,000, from the sale of 20 and 24-ounce PhilMor travel coffee refills on Friday, Nov. 11 Veterans Day.

The money raised will sponsor wreaths for a section of the Arlington National Cemetery on National Wreaths Across America Day, Dec. 17.

Wreaths Across America is a national organization dedicated to placing wreaths on veterans’ graves across the United States each December. The wreath laying is funded through individual sponsorships, corporate donors and volunteer truck drivers.

“Without the continued, dedicated volunteerism and support of the trucking industry, Wreaths Across America would not be able to accomplish its mission to the extent that we do today,” said Karen Worcester, executive director of Wreath Across America.

Worcester says the trucking industry has been crucial to Wreaths Across America’s success in honoring veterans at graves across the United States.
