Show to focus on personal safety
April 12, 2011
| by: Truckers News Staff
On Thursday, Truckers News contributing editor and well-known “I’m Just Say’n” advice columnist Carolyn Magner will join cohosts Allen and Donna Smith on their Truth About Trucking Live online talk show to discuss the growing danger on the nation’s roadways. “Crime Against Truckers – Protection on the Road” airs Thursday, April 14, at 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
Magner gained expertise in personal protection on the road during her reporting of the “Risky Business” cover story in the April edition of Truckers News, in which she runs through the personal security practices of several drivers and owner-operators and probes concealed carry laws as they pertain to interstate haulers. The Smiths have also covered this subject on their program in March 2010.
To tune in Thursday, search for the archived program, or for further details, visit www.blogtalkradio.com/truthabouttrucking.
For background on the issue of personal safety on the road, see the cover story in the current edition of Truckers News here.

As a field and call out adjuster working tractor trailer accidents for 13 years, I can certainly help in the trucker out there with their personal safety and the do/donts when accidents happen. I am available 24/7 in the South Texas region.
Safety is priority and the truck driver is the insured (trucking company) first line of defense when an accident occurs.
Heck yeah this is exactly what I neeedd.
