Peterbilt’s stainless steel, cowl-mounted air cleaner and cap is available on Peterbilt Models 389, 388 and 367, in both 13- and 15-inch diameters for single- or dual-side installations. The new proprietary air filter developed by PACCAR utilizes nanotechnology to aid in trapping submicron contaminants, extend maintenance intervals and prolong engine life, the company says.  Also, a new air filter seal has been designed to reduce contamination and facilitate easier inspection and servicing.
