Each year, Truckers News selects a deserving family for the Great American Trucking Family award. The award is presented at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas. The family is also featured on the cover of the August issue of Truckers News.

We look for families with deep roots in the trucking industry. This can be multi-generational or extended families with ties to the trucking industry. Judges for the award also look at safety awards, letters of recommendation and community service.

Please submit your family for consideration for 2010 to rgrider@rrpub.com. Please put Great American Trucking Family in the subject line. Include an outline of your family’s involvement in the trucking industry, the number of members in the trucking industry (both past and present) and any safety awards or community involvement. Be sure to include a contact name, mailing address, email and contact phone number. Deadline for 2010 is May 1.
