Truck driver health focus of ‘Fit for the Road’ at GATS Aug. 27-29

This year, the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas will feature a variety of free health screenings, which will be offered at the Landstar Fit for the Road Health and Wellness Pavilion at the show, scheduled for Aug. 27-29 at the Dallas Convention Center.

Additionally, there will be cooking, fitness and educational demos for drivers at the Pavilion.

Services and screenings that will be offered at GATS include:

  • Ask a pharmacist
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Bone marrow donor registration drive
  • Cardiac risk assessment
  • Diabetes education
  • Eye acuity exam
  • Height/weight/body mass index screening
  • Mammogram
  • Nutrition screening
