Truck stop owners on list of billionaires

Owners of the Pilot Flying J chain are on the “Forbes” magazine lsit of billionaires.

Owners of the leading truck stop chains in America are on the list of the world’s richest business people.

On “Forbes” magazine’s list of the world’s billionaires are Tom and Judy Love, of Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores and Jimmy Haslam, CEO of Pilot Flying J.

The Loves occupy the No. 205 spot on the list with a net worth of $5.9 billion. Oklahoma City-based Love’s has more than 300 locations in 39 states.

Haslam is ranked No. 771 on the list with a $2.3-billion net worth. Pilot Flying J is the largest operator of travel centers and travel plazas in North America, with more than 650 retail locations.
