Expect traffic delays as crews continue work on Interstate 40 at White Bridge Road in west Nashville, Tenn.
This weekend, crews will close lanes on I-40 in both directions near White Bridge Road to work on concrete foundations for new overhead sign structures, the Tennessee Department of Transportation said.
The left lanes of eastbound and westbound I-40 will be closed 8 p.m. Friday, July 30, through 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2.
I-40 will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 10 p.m. through 7 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. Sunday.
The $32 million project is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and is scheduled to be complete in August 2011.
