Breast cancer survivor, trucker & ‘Most Beautiful’

Brita Nowak is:

1. The owner of her own trucking company
2. A truck driver with 14 years experience
3. A former model and actress
4. A breast cancer survivor
5. All of the above

And, the answer is: “E” of course.

The German-born Nowak lives in Jupiter, Florida and hauls frozen and refrigerated foods. She also owns Brat Cat Express. Earlier this year she was the winner of the Most Beautiful Trucker contest sponsored by out sister publication, “Overdrive.”

This being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we asked Nowak to share the story of her breast cancer diagnosis and her decision to have a double mastectomy.
