JJ Cale died of a heart attack in 2013 at the age of 74, leaving behind a sterling musical legacy. Now, Eric Clapton and a cadre of other musical greats pay the pioneer of the Tulsa sound a fitting tribute with this 16-cut CD. Clapton is joined by Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, Derek Trucks, Mark Knopfler, John Mayer and Don White to perform some of Cale’s many great songs. Tracks include:
