See what Netflix is adding and dropping in December

If you aren’t interesting in catching up on Christmas classics, Netflix‘s December streaming releases can keep you distracted from all the holiday movies..

Darkman, a 1990 superhero action film, becomes available for streaming Dec. 1. In Darkman, Peyton Westlake (Liam Neeson) is a scientist. He’s attacked by mobster Robert Durant (Larry Drake) after his attorney girlfriend Julie Hastings (Frances McDormand) ends up on the wrong side of corrupt billionaire developer Louis Stack Jr. (Colin Friels).  

In the 1999 supernatural horror Stir of Echoes, Tom Witzky (Kevin Bacon) works as a phone lineman in Chicago, where he lives with his pregnant wife Maggie (Kathryn Erbe) and son Jake (Zachary David Cope). Tom begins to see the spirit of a young girl who went missing lurking around his home, and he becomes convinced that evil is afoot. The film comes to Netflix streaming Dec. 1.
