Enlisted in 1970 with the Navy, served with riverine, costal river division 20, then served in Naval security group through 1980, rated as an equipment operator, with CBs. In 1987, I joined Tennessee National Guard, 1/278th ACR, as a senior combat medic, with service in Desert Storm in ’91. Retired with disability in 1997.
