Three truckers have been named the TravelCenters of America's Citizen Driver honorees for 2025.

Each will have a TA location named in their honor.

The winners, announced at last week's Mid-America Trucking Show, are:

  • Jay Hosty, an owner-operator leased to Landstar, who chose the TA in Slidell, Louisiana to be named in his honor
  • Darryl Tolle, a driver-trainer for Ryder, will have the TA in Walton, Kentucky bear his name
  • Craig Daniels, a driver for the Crete Carrier Corporation, will have the TA in Rawlins, Wyoming named in his honor

Other finalists for the award were Carmen Anderson with America’s Service Line, Steven Brand with FedEx Freight, and Michael Middleton with Old Dominion Freight Line.

The Citizen Driver Award recognizes truckers who have exemplary driving records and involvement in the  trucking industry. They also are actively involved in their communities and service organizations.
