Fleet profile: Searcy Trucking receives Volvo Trucks Safety Award

Volvo Trucks awarded Searcy Trucking the 2015 Volvo Trucks Safety Award in the under 20 million miles category in October. The company will receive $25,000 for future safety initiatives as part of the award.

Searcy Trucking is headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and has been a division of Bison Transport since 2013. They specialize in flatbed services. In 2014, Searcy truck drivers logged more than 6.8 million miles with an accident frequency rate of .58. 

“Searcy drivers are some of the best in the business,” said Norm Blagden, president of Searcy Trucking, in a news release. “That, combined with a leading safety program, ensures our drivers return home safely at the end of each and every trip.”
