The American Transportation Research Institute has released the results of its annual Top Industry Issues Report. The survey results show what drivers, motor carriers, and law enforcement officers consider to be the most important issues facing the trucking industry today.

Last week we asked, "When a recruiter talks about bonuses (sign‑on, safety, etc.), what do you most want to know right away?"
- 48.65% said, "Exactly what I have to do to get it."
- 29.73% said, "How many drivers actually earn the full bonus."
- 13.51% said, "How long it takes to get paid once I earn it."
- 8.11% said, "Whether the bonus changes anything about my loads or routes."
