Four truckers have been honored by their state's trucking association.

FedEx drivers Eric Ward, Brian Thompson, Ted Kirby, Harley Feltner, Llyod Jobe, Bick Sarkine, and Bruce Collains were recently awarded the prestigious Master Truck Driver certification by the Indiana Motor Truck Association.

The Master Truck Driver program recognizes elite drivers who demonstrate a career marked by excellence, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to safety. Only 2% of CDL holders nationwide ever qualify for this distinction.

To be eligible, drivers must:

  • Have 10 years or 1 million+ miles of safe driving
  • No recordable DOT incidents
  • Have competed in a TDC, completed a professional course, performed a heroic act, or contributed through community service.
DMC Insurance is the sponsor the IMTA’s Master Truck Driver certification kit given to the drivers.
