Arkansas Trucking Association
Walmart Transportation drivers took the top two honors at the recent Arkansas Trucking Association's annual Trucking Championships held at the Rogers. Convention Center in Rogers, Arkansas.
Chris Moore was the event's grand champion, and also won the flatbed division. Moore has been driving 28 years, with 3.5 million safe-driving miles.
Keith Anderson was the grand champion runner-up, and also took the top spor in the sleeper competition.
The other division winners include:
- 3 Axle: Chris Swanson, FedEx Freight
- 4 Axle: Daniel Workman, Old Dominion Freight Line
- 5 Axle: Jason Casalicchio, J.B. Hunt Transport
- Step Van: Eric Brockette, FedEx Freight
- Straight Truck: Jessie King, FedEx Freight
- Tank: Marcus Rush, Walmart Transportation
- Twins: Bart Fowler, FedEx Freight
Division winners qualified for the National Truck Driving Championships in Pittsburgh Aug. 11-14.
