No matter if you call it soda or pop or even soda pop, a sugary and carbonated beverage — and most likely more than one — may be a fact of life for many truck drivers.Some drink it instead of coffee or water, and some prefer it to iced tea when the weather heats up.
Regardless of what you call it or when you drink it and how much, soda/pop can add pounds and undermine even the best efforts to eat (and drink) in a healthy way while on the road. For example, a 12-ounce can of Coke has 140 calories.
