Yir LogoBrian Ferguson believes he has the best job within the largest travel center corporation in North America. He may chuckle when he says that, but he’s exceptionally serious about that claim.

Ferguson is the chief merchant for Pilot Flying J. That means he’s responsible for just about everything sold inside the 750 Pilot and Flying J  travel centers in North America.

For Ferguson and others at PFJ, 2019 was an especially busy year. The Knoxville, Tennessee-based company opened 15 new stores, rebuilt three, added 900 truck parking spaces, improved its mobile app, acquired stores of several other brands and created a new fuel network for small fleets and owner-operators.

But, Ferguson expects to be even busier in the year ahead. He explains what went on in 2019 and what’s ahead in 2020 during this episode of the Truckers News Podcast.
