If you’re cooking in the cab for Thanksgiving because you can’t be home for the holiday, worry not. It’s still possible for you to enjoy delicious holiday flavors with the help of your trusty slow cooker.

There’s a recipe for whatever holiday flavor you may be craving:

  • Whole Turkey: Yes, your slow cooker can cook a whole turkey. The Little Kitchen makes its turkey rub using salt, paprika, onion powder, dried thyme, ground white pepper, garlic powder and ground black pepper. The turkey is cooked in the slow cooker with chopped onion, carrots, celery stalks, garlic cloves and a whole lemon.
  • Jazzed Up Green Bean Casserole: Taste of Home says this recipe can cook on low in just 4-6 hours. It yields about 10 servings, so there will be plenty of leftovers. This recipe calls for bacon strips to help give it extra texture, and is has plenty of cheese to help balance it out.
  • Cornbread Dressing: A good dressing is a must-have at Thanksgiving. Southern Living makes this recipe with butter, pepper, rubbed sage, chopped celery, lightly beaten eggs, diced sweet onion, low-sodium chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, packaged herb stuffing and crumbled cornbread.
  • Home-Style Mashed Potatoes: Foot Network Kitchen‘s mashed potatoes recipe is no-fuss. It uses potatoes, unsalted butter, Kosher salt, ground black pepper, sour cream, milk and chives. It takes about 20 minutes to prep, four hours to cook and yields about eight servings.
  • Slow Cooker Creamed Corn: If you want to keep it simple, this is the recipe for you. Damn Delicious uses just six ingredients to make this yummy dish: cans of whole kernel corn, milk, sugar, pepper, cream cheese and unsalted butter. This recipe cooks quickly in just 2-3 hours.
