K & B Transportation has announced a bonus program for all new hires.
Based in South Sioux City, Neb., K & B today said all new hires will receive a $400 bonus in their first paycheck, as well as $500 bonuses on their fifth and 10th paychecks, adding up to $1,400.
The company said the bonus equals a temporary 4-5 cents per mile.
K & B (ranked 153rd on Commercial Carrier Journal’s Top 250 list) said new employees can also qualify for its $1,025 per week minimum guarantee.
The refrigerated carrier has more than 600 drivers.
