Heavy snowfall in northern California, closed down travel and trapped numerous tractor-trailers on Interstate 80 near Truckee.

A 70-mile stretch of the interstate west and north of Lake Tahoe was closed Sunday night. It's reported that as much as 7 feet of snow fell in the mountains.
