Supermove to begin tonight in New Hampshire, finish early Thursday a.m.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation has approved a supermove by RYCO Heavy Haul Inc. to transport a 129-foot-long, 20-foot-tall storage tank from Portsmouth to Nashua.

The move will take place over two nights. It begins at  9 p.m. tonight, Dec. 10, pauses on NH 111 Hampstead at about 3 a.m. On Wednesday, Dec. 11, the move resumes at 9 p.m., with a planned arrival in Nashua by about 4 a.m.Thursday.

NHDOT said to expect road closures lasting 30+ minutes and rolling roadblocks on these routes:tonight:

  • NH 33
  • NH 108
  • NH 101
  • NH 27
  • North Road
  • NH 125
  • NH 111

NHDOT said to expect road closures Wednesday night on:

  • NH 111
  • NH 28
  • Range Road
  • NH 111A
  • NH 3A
  • Circumferential Highway
  • Daniel Webster Highway
  • E. Dunstable Road
  • Middle Dunstable Road

Traffic control includes NH State Police and yellow light escorts.

NHDOT urges motorists to plan ahead and seek alternate routes both nights.
