Cargo crooks in Colorado steal $1.4 million worth of gaming consoles

Cargo thieves made off with thousands of gaming consoles from a truck parked at a Colorado truck stop.

The theft of 2,810 Ninendo Switch 2 gaming consoles occurred June 8 at the Love's Travel Stop in Bennett, Colorado, reports KREM-TV.

The truck's driver tod police he discovered the theft during their pre-trip inspection.

The driver told deputies he was on route to a GameStop store in Grapevine, Texas, from Nintendo of America in Redmond, Washington.
