4 trucks were destroyed Wednesday in fire at truck stop north of Denver

Four trucks were destroyed Wednesday night, July 2, during a fire at a Colorado truck stop.

The Mountain View Fire Rescue reported on Facebook that it appears the fire started in one truck and spread to the others before being extinguished. Firefighters had to contend with explosions form diesel fuel and tires.

The incident occurred on Colorado Highway 119 just west of Interstate 25 north of Denver.

No injuries were reported.  

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
