24 trucks placed out of service during recent CO/WY enforcement effort

Wyoming and Colorado law enforcement officers placed 24 commercial vehicles out of service during a join operation on the birder of the two states late 
 
According to a public statement, the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP), and the  Colorado State Patrol, worked a commercial carrier traffic operation known as a Mobile Enforcement and Education Team (MEET) Detail on US 287 south of Laramie on Sepot. 30.
 
The mobile enforcement teams inspected 82 commercial vehicles.These inspections led to a total of 16 drivers and 24 vehicles being put out of service. Officers also made four arrests and issues one one marijuana citation.
 
WHP said its troopers arrested three commercial vehicle drivers, all pertaining to repeat offenses. Two arrests were for repeated offenses of driving without a CDL, and one aforementioned arrest for repeated violations of the English Language Proficiency regulation.
 
Colorado State Patrol made one arrest related to a state-wide warrant.
