One of the major travel center chains is wrapping up 2025 with numerous projects.

To close out the year, Pilot said it invested in upgrades to "ensure a consistently exceptional experience for every traveler." These new facilities, curb-to-counter renovations across its network and milestones in high-reliability EV charging reflect Pilot’s commitment to showing all drivers they matter at every turn, according to a statement from the company.
The accomplishments between October to December include:
- The opening of two new facilities in Ohio and Texas.
- Completion of "curb-to-counter" renovations at nine key travel centers.
- The expansion of Pilot’s EV charging network to over 1,000 stalls across nearly 250 locations. The company’s largest EV charging station to-date was also celebrated at an event in Elkton, Maryland.
Pilot expanded its network in November with two brand-new facilities, both providing enhanced options for drivers along their routes.
- Eagle Pass, TX: Pilot #360 (New network addition)
- Findlay, OH: Pilot #360 (Complete raze and rebuild)

- Pilot #209 – Van Horn, Texas
- Pilot #448 – Hebron, Indiana
- Pilot #1028 – Buffalo, Texas
Pilot’s largest EV charging station to-date was celebrated at an event in Elkton, Maryland, featuring representatives from the Maryland Department of Transportation, Maryland Department of Environment, Maryland Energy Administration and network partners.
Pilot said its "guest-focused EV charging experience" is now available in more communities and along more key travel corridors as its network has grown by 26 locations since the start of October.
