Love's Travel Stops

Love’s Travel Stops is expanding in Texas with the opening of a new travel stop in San Antonio, the second in the city. 

It has 70 truck parking spots. So far in 2026, Love’s has added 534 truck parking spaces across the country.

The new Love’s will also feature the company’s first Whataburger, opening May 4, Guests can enjoy fan-favorite menu items like the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit for breakfast, the savory Patty Melt, the iconic #1 Whataburger, and popular shakes — each served up with Whataburger’s iconic bold, made-to-order flavor.

Whataburger was founded in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1950 by Harmon Dobson.

New store has:

•    Love’s fresh food items
•    Whataburger (opening May 4)
•    Self-checkout options
•    Dog park
•    Laundry facilities
•    Seven showers
•    CAT Scale

As a new Love’s location, the San Antonio travel stop has space allocated for EV chargers, allowing Love’s to quickly partner with local utility companies to install charging stations should customer demand arise.

In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $5,000 to the East Central High School Band and $5,000 to Christus Children’s Hospital.
