A driver for ABF Freight won the Oklahoma Trucking Association's Truck Driving Championships, which were held June 12 and 13 at the Oklahoma State University Oklahoma City campus.
Michael Kirby, a driver for ABF Freight won the championship title as well as the straight truck class.
The other class winners included:

4 Axle: John Longley. FedEx Freight
5 Axle: Benjamin Scrivener, Livestock Nutrition Center
Tank Truck: Olson Floyd, Walmart
Flatbed: Sammy Warren, Walmart
Twin Trailers: Willie Rivera, Old Dominion Freight LIne
Step Van: Christian Matthews, Crossno Corp./FedEx
5 Axle Sleeper Berth: Matthew Thomas, Jr., Melton Truck Lines
The team trophy went to Old Dominion Freight Line.
Class winners advance to the national competition in Pittsburgh August 11-14.
