A major trucking industry organization holds its safety gathering in Florida next month.
The Nation Private Truck Council holds its National Safety Conference Sept. 9-11 at the Omni Orlando Resort in ChampionsGate, Florida..
The conference is an educational program the organization said offers a unique format of presentations, problem-solving workshops, expert panels, and networking opportunities. It also provides attendees with insights into, and implementable solutions for, strategic safety and security issues that face today’s private fleets.
NPTC said topics and speakers have been chosen and represent the most relevant and current safety information available in the industry today. The program includes what NPTC said is "concise yet comprehensive information that is solution-centered, supplemented by extensive networking opportunities with speakers and guests alike."
The conference also features a special ceremony and luncheon presentation of the NPTC's annual National Driver All-Star Awards, co-sponsored by International Motors and Centerline Drivers. This annual awards program recognizes private fleet truck drivers who have demonstrated high performance standards against their peer drivers throughout the country based on customer service, safety, adherence to company standards, regulatory compliance, and community service.
In addition, registrants will hear NPTC General Counsel Rick Schweitzer’s Washington Report for an update on the latest regulatory and legislative issues affecting private fleets, and, a special presentation from NPTC’s EVP Tom Moore, CTP, reviewing the newly released and updated NPTC Annual Benchmarking Survey Report.
All conference events will take place at the Omni Orlando Resort in ChampionsGate, Florida. Click here for hotel reservations.
