In North Dakota, FedEx Freight driver Scott Meyers was named the grand champion. He also won first place in the tanker division. Altendorf Express driver Julie Hjelle won first place in the sleeper berth class. She was named Rookie of the Year.
Werner Enterprises driver Eric Stein was named Nebraska’s grand champion. He also jointly won the Rookie of the Year award, first place in the 3-axle class, and the Professional Excellence Award which recognizes the driver with the highest written test score.
