This was Sam Hunt’s year.

Hunt topped Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart, taking the #1 spot for “Take Your Time” and #3 with “House Party.” This placed him firmly in the list of the top 10 country songs of 2015.

Hunt was the only artist to have more than one song ranked in the top 10. Little Big Town‘s “Girl Crush,” off of their “Painkiller” album, ranked at #2. Luke Bryan‘s “Kick The Dust Up,” from his “Kill The Lights” album, took the #4 spot.

Billboard’s ranking of the most popular country songs is based on data measured by Nielson Music, including radio airplay audience impressions, sales data and streaming activity data.
