Two heavy-duty track manufacturers have vehicles under "do not drive" recall orders.
Some Volvo and Mack Trucks are being recalled because of a wheel-mounting related issue that could allow lug nuts to loosen and a wheel to detach.
The recalls include about 644 Macks and 155 Volvos including:
- 2026 Mack Anthem
- 2026-’27 Mack Pinnacle
- 2026-’27 Mack Pioneer
- 2026-’27 Mack Granite
- 2027 Mack Anthem
- 2026 Volvo VAH
- 2026-’27 Volvo VNL
- 2026-’27 Volvo VN
- 2026-’27 Volvo VHD
- 2027 Volvo VNR
Dealers will inspect the wheel and hub mating surfaces, remove any masking material, and replace any worn components, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed June 5.
